Each apartment has one bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen.The house is less than 500 feet from the beach on the beach side of West Grand Ave.It is only 0.6 miles, an easy walk, to the Old Orchard Beach pier but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Old Orchard. The charming front porch has private access for the 1st floor guests and allows you to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the rocking chairs provided. A washer and dryer are available for your
convenience, located in the basement of the house. The washer, dryer and gas grill, perfect for summer BBQ's, are shared with the 2nd floor unit.

A convenience store/sandwich shop is across the street. Other amenities include high speed wireless internet, upgraded cable, dvd player, portable dishwasher, lobster port and off-street parking for 4 cars.

Waterskiing, bicycling, golfing, deep sea fishing are all easily available nearby.

For the children there are endless amusements including the rides at Palace Playland, mini golf and nearby Funtown/Splashtown amusement and water park in neighboring Saco.

When you've had enough of the beach, there's plenty to explore in the southern Maine area. Head north to Portland, Maine's largest city and all the cultural and dining opportunities there, including the Portland Museum of Art, the Children's Museum and for baseball fans, the Portland Sea Dogs. Go a littler further to Freeport and enjoy outlet shopping and the world-renowned L.L. Bean Store, open 24 hours a day. You can also head south to the smaller shops of Kennebunkport where you can also enjoy a whale watching tour. A bit further south you'll find more outlet shopping in Kittery and continued cultural delights just over the border in Portsmouth, N.H.

Want to do some hiking? The White Mountains and White Mountain National Park are a few hours to the west for an easy day trip. Enjoy the crisp air, beautiful scenery and spectacular views found among some of the highest peaks in the northeastern United States.
